On March 6, He Longcan, vice president of China Association for Public Companies(short as CAPCO), led delegation of over 40 leaders of Southern Power Grid Energy Storage and other member units to visit Yonghe Park of Guangzhou Zhiguang Electric Co., Ltd. The delegation received a warm welcome from Xiong Tan, Secretary of the Board of Directors of Zhiguang Electric, Chen Yonggang, Executive Vice General Manager of Zhiguang Energy Storage, Qiu Baohua, Securities Affairs Representative, and other company representatives.
At the outset , Xiong Tan provided an overview of Zhiguang Electric’s of development history, industrial layout, core business and key project applications. He highlighted the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality power electronic products and comprehensive energy services for power grid enterprises, energy companies and industrial and commercial customers. With a strategic focus on scaling energy storage scale, Zhiguang Electric plays a vital role in advancing new energy infrastructure, ensuring energy security, and supporting the transition to a modern power system.
Next, Chen Yonggang guided the delegation through the automated battery PACK production line, PCS production line, system integration assembly workshop, providing a brief overview of the production process, technical principles, and engaging in discussions with the visitors. Yonghe Park is dedicated to energy storage product manufacturing, striving to establish a high-quality, high-efficiency, low-energy intelligent zero-carbon production base through the introduction of automated equipment, advanced information technology and digital management systems. Looking ahead, the company plans to establish a CNAS-certified laboratory to further strengthen its R&D capabilities and enhance value creation for customers.
Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, along with eight departments released Action Plan for the High-Quality Development of the New Energy Storage Manufacturing Industry, emphasizing research on high-energy efficiency, high-energy utilization of high-pressure cascade technology research. As the pioneer and leader of high-voltage cascade-type large-capacity energy storage technology, Zhiguang Electric has taken the lead in launching 35kV cascade-type high-voltage direct-mounted energy storage systems and has already landed a number of 100-megawatt application projects, which is in line with the national strategic direction.
Zhiguang Electric will continue to promote technological innovation and industrial upgrading on this basis, contributing more power to the construction of China's new power system and energy transformation.
